1. plastic spur gear
2. plastic parts
buy cheap buy twice…go with a savage…they are indestructible

use traxxas revo gear it works i tryed it and mines are working fine and these are strong it fell off of a 35ft sand dune and hit the rocks and only the steering servo arm was brocken a little theres nothing a little crazy glue cant fix.

i already have …
i already have blisters on my two fingers i use to pull start it. one of the blisters popped and i got nitro in it lol it stung so bad! but its all worth it. when i got my exceed the trim was all jacked up so wen i first started it the thing just took off and ran into a fence lol. a piece broke off but me and my dad worked on it for bout 45 min and got it bak in. now its all good im just waiting for glow to charge up.

@Jeffrey, I would have to say that if your a beginner and your not planning on putting it through a lot of abuse it can be really fun. That said, it is not the highest performance remote control out there, but you would have to spend a lot more for the performance

i own a ofna ravager that i drove through snow in wisconsin and burnt the reciever out…
it took off hit a tree,kooler,camper,and into the lake its running again after new motor,servoes,gears,reciver,new shocks,and new wheels…

u are all idiots there not bad i got one two monthss ago and it has not broke and i do big jumps with it and i find parts at all hobby shops all u got to do is mach the parts with other brands and they always fit i recommend it its very affordable and it is good

i got one of the 1/10 scale infinitive trucks about a year ago and i run the piss out of it all the time. its lasted good the only things ive broke were the brakes and a drive shaft and one of the rear hub carriers. i also have a traxxis and an hpi and i would much rather run my exceed any day cause i aint afraid to break it the parts are chep and easy to find. i would reccomend one of these trucks to anyone interested in the hobby.

how fast does this thing go???? Is it durable???? Do the gears/plastic parts break easily/a lot???? I know the Volcano SV goes 60mph.
