A calculator cell will not have the power to drive your motor.
Sorry but the words solar cell and inexpensive do not go together. If they did, we’d all have solar power for our homes and cars.
YES IT CAN BE DONE BUT YOU ARE MISSING A PIECE OF THE CIRCUIT.YOU WILL NEED A STORAGE MEDIUM, A SMALL RECHARGABLE BATTERY
I WOULD USE A VERY SMALL MOTOR THAT POWERS A BATTERY POWERED CLOCK THEY USE A SINGLE AA OR AAA BATTERY
1 AA OR AAA BATTERY IS 1.5 VOLTS
I THINK THAT SOME OF THE SOLAR POWERED CALCULATORS MAKE APPROX
0.5 VOLTS OR A HALF VOLT DC
I WOULD TEST THE POWER OUTPUT OF YOUR SOLAR CALCULATOR BY REMOVING THE BACK COVER AND LOOKING FOR 2 WIRES CONNECTED TO THE SOLAR PANEL ONE WILL BE + AND ONE – USE A DIGITAL VOLT METER SET ON DC AND CHECK VOLTAGE WHEN YOU EXPOSE SOLAR PANEL TO BRIGHT LIGHT
YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE 1.2-1.5 VOLTS
THE PANELS WOU WILL THEN NEED TO CONNNECT THE SOLAR PANELS WITH PANEL #1 HOOK RED WIRE (POSITIVE) TO PANEL #2 BLACK (NEGATIVE) AND THEN A WIRE FROM THE OTHER 2 PANEL ENDS TO YOUR CLOCK MOTOR WHEN *** IS LAYED OUT THE PANELS ARE LAYED OUT IN A ROW/LINE AND THE CLOCK MOTOR COMPLETES THE CIRUIT.
IF THE SOLAR PANEL OUTPUT VOLTAGE IS OVER A HALF VOLT AND CLOCK MOTOR IS VERY SMALL ,YOU MAY NOT NEED TO HAVE BATTERY AT ALL, IF YOU DO THEN TURN ON BRIGHT ROOM LIGHT AND MOTOR SHOULD STARTY TO TURN
