Any time you have a gasoline engine, no matter what size, it needs some form of parts lubrication, more specifically…oil. There are not any fuel powered RC cars on the market that dont require oil as an additive to the gasoline. The engine wouldnt last very long otherwise.

If you shop around online you can find nitro RC cars for $300 or less. You just need to look around a bit.

Gas powered RCs will run about a grand. If your looking for a RC truck for $300 then you would have to go nitro powered, a stadium truck will run you around that price. A RC with a 4-stroke engine will be rather large and expensive, most would come with a 2-stroke and you would have to mix 2-cycle oil in the gas which is not hard at all. I have a nitro powered RC and really the gas doesn’t cost much, usually about $25 of gas a summer, you get about 50 75ml tanks of nitro fuel per gallon of nitro fuel with each tank lasting you about 10-15 min.
